We are delighted to announce that we have been successful in receiving funding from The Arts Councils: Grassroots Music Venue Fund. Working in partnership with Nottingham C.A.N, Mimm Store and Confetti Studios, have received funding to revive and rejuvenate one of Nottingham’s most historic music venues ‘The Chapel’ in the Angel Microbrewery. The building and venue has so much history as one of Nottingham’s oldest music halls and we are delighted to be in a position to support Nottingham’s grassroots music scene. The funding has supported a whole new venue make-over, the installation of a brand new (much needed) sound system, mixing desk and backline, and we have also installed a new lighting rig and eco-conscious heating and cooling system. Offering a fresh, well spec’ed stage for Nottingham artists to showcase theirselves on we are excited for 2021, working alongside a hub of the Cities finest promoters to program 52 shows within the space.
